The Graphics

If you’re a fan of Lara’s work then you will have probably had a go at her some of her other games. Her look has changes over the years – it happens to us all Lara! This original slot has taken a respectful approach to our star, including those trademark big eyes. This game gives you a Lara that is heavily influenced on the earlier video games that shot her fame into the stratosphere in the first place. It doesn’t come close to newer titles like our Ted slot game, but then again, this is a classic we are talking about!

The one difference to the game is the music which doesn’t really match the video games of the 90s, but it is a perfect pacey scene setter.

Tomb Raider Slot Game Play

The Tomb Raider slot invites you to play over 3 rows, 5 reels and 15 pay-lines.

This game doesn’t stuff the reels with too much paraphernalia, it’s a good old fashioned bonus slot like the Bookie of Odds slot (that one’s themed on horse racing) that many players will love. Top of the big ticket icons are Lara toting a pistol in full combat gear, a roaring tiger and a complex piece of tech. The Ace through 10 of the card deck are the colourful lower value icons.

The Wild is the game’s logo and this substitutes for all icons except the Scatter and the Bonus icon. Lara holds a pair of crossed pistols as the Scatter while a giant golden lion statue, an artefact from Lara’s adventures is the Bonus symbol.

The Bonuses

Tomb Feature
Stalk and land 3, 4 or 5 of the lion artefact icons onto the reels and you will enter a picking game. You’ll find that you’ve mysteriously journeyed into a dusty tomb. Now, you’ll need to choose between the ancient artefacts laid out on the screen. Depending on the number of icons that triggered the feature, there are differing numbers of picks. Start warming up your wallet, there are cash prizes up for grabs.

Free Spins feature
3 or more gun-toting Lara Scatters on the reels will trigger 10 Free Spins. And, any wins generated in this feature are subject to a motivating triple multiplier. That’s worth crawling through the muddy jungle in your combat pants for.

Also, the Free Spins can be re-triggered if you can muster an additional three Scatters for as long as you are able to keep those wins coming.

Verdict

OK, the Tomb Raider slot is not the newest game on the block, but we’d say it’s a classic low variance game. How could you not be impressed with a heroine who knows how to beat the competition in such style? I loved the opportunity to Re-trigger the Free Spins and picking from ancient treasures is a simple, but weirdly comfortable side game.
