Graphics
Merry Megaways will get you into the festive spirit with its very traditional Christmas theme. In the base game the reels are set in a winter wonderland with snow covered pine trees in the evening background. The reels are framed by two wooden toy soldiers, that look straight out of The Nutcracker, the famous Christmas ballet. Santa Claus stands to the right of the reels, he’s a very jolly looking large chap, although he does seem to be a bit of a heavy breather!
The graphics work well in this game, with bright reels set against a snowy background.
The symbols are festive too, the lower value symbols are an icy deck of cards A, K,Q,J and the higher value symbols include a glass of milk and cookies left by the fire place for Santa, a Christmas pudding, an elf, a red and white striped stick of candy and a reindeer. Santa Claus is the highest value symbol, land 6 of these and win a jolly 50x your bet.
A gentle Crimbo jingle plays in the background. The reels make an avalanche sound when they spin, very wintery!
