Inca’s Treasure

Unfortunately, we no longer stock this game, but we have kept this description up in our archives. We do have plenty of Ancient Inca slots though!

If a treacherous treasure hunt in the High Andes fills you with dread, then step away from the reels, my dear chums. However, if you’re game for some altitude high jinx, freash mountain air and derring-do, then Inca’s Treasure slot from Tom Horn Gaming could be just the ticket for you. I have just got off the Wild Scarabs slot on an Egyptian treasure hunt, so I´m well up for this one!

Unearth a lost city and find favour with the sun god and try and bring home dome dolares… It’s time to play.

The Basics

This rollicking adventure delivers an Inca Treasure bonus feature where you can pick your own destiny (as well as free spins and multipliers)! I do like the personalised touch in my slots.

The Graphics

Tom Horn Gaming have cooked up a convincingly deserted Inca city surrounded by high jungle. The reels are set in a stone and wood building, decorated with feathers and bright colours (those Inca’s really weren’t into subtle décor!) You’ll be swishing your tail to the soothing panpipes that accompany your spins – another nod to the game’s South American heritage. I wouldn’t say that this game hits the visual heights of something like the Voodoo Gold slot machine, but it’s not half bad.

A simple interface with some rather nice illustrations – this slot looks sleek and sophisticated, not unlike myself. Ha!

Inca’s Treasure Game Play

Inca’s Treasure slot is played out over 3 rows, 5 reels and a gold rush of 20 pay-lines. Not as many as the Samurai Split slot then, but fairly standard on the pay-lines front.

A muscular warrior with a shield and spear takes the top spot on the pay-table, followed by the mountain-loving alpaca, a golden bird statuette, a decorated pot, and those panpipes. Perhaps these double up as blowpipes (very handy in a crisis). I like to know what I’m dealing with on a deep-cover mission of this kind…Always be wary of innocent looking chaps with long tubes in their hands.

The Ace through 9 in elaborate gold and brightly-coloured Inca designs make up your lower value icons.

The Wild looks like an Incan VIP complete with gold chains, feathers and extravagant face paint – this chap will substitute for all other icons except the Scatter and the Extra Wild.

I must take my hat off to the Extra Wild symbol – who is the impressively turned-out high priest. He gets an award in my book simply for his sartorial flare! Sadly, you will only find him in the Bonus round…

An intricate golden artefact from the Inca hoard represents the sun god and is the game’s Scatter.

The Bonuses

Inca Treasure Bonus
Land 3x or more of the sun Scatters on the reels and you will launch the Inca Treasure Bonus feature.

You’ll find yourself facing the wall of a stone temple covered in golden sun faces. This is a risky game of chance where you must uncover hidden multipliers (up to x5) and your allocated number of free spins (up to x14).

Choose wisely (the higher up you pick in the temple, the bigger the rewards) and your free spins will begin…

Free Spins
Having set the dials for your good fortune in the Inca temple, you now get your chance to spin the reels. But, before you’re struck down with gold fever, remember the Extra Wilds are in play which double the value of any win that they contribute to.

Which is excellent news, if I don’t say so myself.

Verdict

High jinks in the dense jungles of the Andes with a potentially massive haul of long-lost Inca gold? It’s no wonder the Inca’s Treasure slot floated my boat! And I particularly liked the Bonus pick game – where that x5 multiplier can really come in handy.

4 out 5 bananas

An Incan adventure slot with plenty to shout about.
