Fans of House of Doom from Play’n GO will be pleased to hear that there are more creepy slot shenanigans abound in House of Doom 2: The Crypt slot. But this time, it comes with 4 different wilds, Crypt re-spins and a banging heavy metal soundtrack. The Graphics
As with any upgrade, the design here is better than the original. As you fire up the slot you’ll see an imposing fireplace flanked by two hooded figures, while the game further purveys a gothic vibe with its creepy candelabras. It’s got that creepy feel about it like the 3 Clown Monty slot, another Play ‘n Go game.
Finally, the thrashing guitar music is brought to you by a Swedish band named Candlemass. I’ve never heard of them, but to be honest, Beethoven is more my style.
House of Doom 2: The Crypt Slot Game Play
House of Doom 2: The Crypt slot has 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 pay-lines. Pretty standard fare compared to something like Joyful Joker Megaways, but wait until you see the features!
Now to the creepy pay table: the high value symbols are the skull with spikes in it, the candalabras, the deadly nightshade and the crossed knives. Meanwhile the lower values are the 10, J, Q, K & A playing cards.
As aforementioned, there are 4 wilds in play – the Fire Mistress, the Metal Priestess, the Queen of the Damned and the Spirit of Unity. Each of these feisty females comes with their own bonus but more on that later…
The scatter symbol is The Crypt game logo symbol. Keep your eyes peeled for it, it will come in handy my slot loving chums.
The Bonuses
Spirit Gate Wild Feature
If the Spirit Gate lands on any of the reels it will expand to cover the whole reel, award a re-spin and trigger off one of the following wild features:
Queen Of The Damned – Will unlock spirit gate icons on multiple reels for the next spin.
Metal Priestess – Will transform all high paying symbols into the most lucrative Skull symbols.
Fire Mistress – Will award a random multiplier of either 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x on any wins on the re-spin.
Spirit Of Unity – This will award all the above wild features at the same time – but you’ll only find it in the Crypt Spins bonus.
Free Spins & Crypt Spins
Hit 3x of Crypt scatters on the first, third, and fifth reels will give you 8x Free Spins. Which sounds rather meagre, but there’s more to come!
During the round, one or more Spirit Gate reels will be active giving you extra chances to win – and the Scatter symbols that land on them will be transformed into Flaming Crypt Scatters.
If you manage to hit 3x of the upgraded Scatters on an open Spirit Gate you’ll set off the Crypt Spins. Here’s where you cold come across the Spirit of Unity Wild feature where your re-spins will come with Fire Mistress, Metal Priestess, and Queen of the Damned modifiers active all at once. Delightful!

I like the 4 wild features; which keeps the base game entertaining and the Crypt Free Spins can bring some highly generous wins if you’re lucky enough to set them off.
