We stock two games called “Irish Luck” here at Monkey Casino. One game is a Playtech slot and the other is an Eyecon game. We will cover the Eyecon game first, the Playtech version review is below.

The Graphics

These aren’t the slickest graphics I’ve ever seen, but they do the job. The reels are set against a lush green backdrop, with a giant rainbow behind the reels. The golden coins peeking out from under the reels are a reminder of why you’re here in the Emerald Isle.

I think Eyecon missed a trick with the soundtrack though – with only a selection of computer beeps and squeaks to accompany your spins! Not an Irish fiddle in sight…

Irish Luck Slot Game Play

Irish Luck slot (the Eyecon one) has five reels, three rows and 25 pay lines (the same as the Samurai Split slot machine), and this game can be played across all devices.

In terms of the pay table, the highest paying symbol is the golden treasure trees: land five of these on a pay line to scoop 1,000 coins.  The other winning symbols are the Leprechaun’s pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, the rainbow, a stone wall, a castle, a red spotty toadstool, a golden coin and a glass of Guinness. Pretty traditional fare!

The Wild is a four-leaved clover that turns up on reels 2 and 4 and substitutes for all symbols except for the Scatter. Better still, when the Wild is involved in a winning combo, it doubles your win.

There are two different Scatters in the Irish Luck slot: a pink-haired fairy, and the permanently grinning Leprechaun who’s trying to give away his pot of gold.

Irish Word Combination

Five letters that spell out I-R-I-S-H on the reels will also randomly land on the reels. If you manage to hit two or more of them, there’s gold in the pot for you. But if you manage to spell out the whole word – then expect to be 3000 coins richer.

The Bonuses

The Prize Pick feature

You can trigger this feature by landing three or more of the Leprechaun Scatters on the reels. The number of picks awarded depends on the number of Scatters you land. You get a new screen where you use your picks to select a number of tree stumps to reveal the prizes.

If you’re lucky enough to uncover the fairy symbol you’ll win 100x your bet, while the Leprechaun will boost the gameplay with ten Free Spins. He will also double any wins you make during the feature.

Now that’s better than kissing the Blarney stone!

Match and Win Bonus

Just land three or more of the Scatter fairies on the reels to trigger the Match and Win bonus. Pick between the four-leaved clovers to reveal matching multipliers and you’ll be given that multiplier as your prize. FYI: They go up to 100x.

The Gamble Feature

As your spin comes to an end, you have a last chance for an Irish treat. You’ll be presented with two options – choose one to have a chance to either double your winnings or lose the lot. This feature is not available in all countries.

The Verdict
